Privacy.
This site runs no analytics scripts, sets no cookies of its own, and shares nothing with advertising networks.
What is recorded
The content delivery network that serves these pages writes an access log entry for each request. Each entry holds your IP address, the page requested, the time, your browser's user-agent string, and the referring address — the page or app you followed a link from. Nothing is added by the site itself; this is the standard record a web server keeps in order to serve a request.
Why
To know which work people look at and how they found the studio, and to see when something is broken or being abused. The logs are read in aggregate. They are not used to build a profile of you, and they are never sold or shared.
How long
Access logs are deleted automatically 90 days after they are written. There is no longer-term archive of them.
Who can see it
The logs sit in private storage that is not reachable from the public web. Only the studio can read them.
Other services
The contact page embeds a booking form from HoneyBook, which is a separate company with its own privacy terms; anything you type into that form goes to them. Journal and portfolio content is stored with Sanity. Print orders, when placed, are processed by Stripe — payment details go to Stripe and never reach this site.
Requests
To ask what is held about you, or to have it removed, write to hello@chambersandlight.com. Given the 90-day window, records may already have expired.
